So busy living my solo life. How does one find time to tweet and blog? I take care of my large home and many gardens. Yesterday I spent two hours interviewing masons to do a rather large job on a 5-foot cement wall that surrounds my property. Fall is cleanup in my yard with tree roots to be removed as soon as possible.
Today I was brave enough to climb into my attic to search for fall decorations. I also searched my garage for cemetery grave decorations. I take care of eight graves and one mausoleum that is 90 minutes from my home. I check in with a landscape company in another town to remove eight Cedar trees on the grounds of the mausoleum.
I am editing my third book and have only seven weeks to complete and learn Twitter, blogging and computer. These courses I have already paid for! Have not had time to welcome new neighbors or have a much-needed oil change on my car. Plants that are still alive need tender loving care pronto. Tiles need replacing on my two sets of steps and side porch.
Halloween is almost here. Where oh where are my hanging plastic skeletons? I need to create a fall arrangement for my dining room table, but first, it has to be cleared of my many editing pages to my third book.
Forgot to tell you, all books have been written with pen in hand! Two already published, and two being edited now. I need a quick trip to my daughter’s new home out of state. It is now finished and she wants me to verify the colors picked. Also, have to pick brick and mortar colors.
I made it through my unsafe garage which has never seen my car. It houses everything that doesn’t have a home! I guess you could call it my second-hand shop. Barely made it through my attic, who’s fan switch is not working. I tripped over several Christmas trees that were not boxed properly.
Is that a see-through dress that my granddaughter is wearing to a formal dance at college? When did bathing suits diminish so in size? I don’t know whether to take ownership of the one granddaughter in the leopard bikini. I stop and ask Alexa, how do you spell bikini? College is so different today.
Run up the stairs to my bedroom suite to find my TV, which I now depend on at night, is not receiving its signal. I call the cable company and cry and tell them, “I need someone tomorrow, not next week.” I live alone and I need my TV!”
That’s my day! How was yours?
